Mentoring minds to think smart, plan strategically, and perform confidently.

CA Astha Mongia is a distinguished Gold Medallist in B.Com (H) from Delhi University (Batch 2011), known for her exceptional academic consistency and conceptual strength. She secured All India Rank 10 in CA CPT (June 2010) and All India Rank 2 in CA IPCC (November 2011), reflecting her disciplined approach and deep understanding of core subjects.

Hailing from a small town in Haryana, she completed most of her schooling in Chandigarh before moving to Delhi for graduation. She went on to complete her articleship with PwC, where she gained strong professional exposure. Despite this corporate foundation, teaching had always been her true calling—and she began teaching immediately after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.

Under her mentorship at SD Commerce Career, students have secured consistent exemptions in every attempt, with highest marks going up to 98 in Cost and Management Accounting. Her results speak not only of performance, but of long-term conceptual retention.

Teaching Philosophy

Academics have always been her forte, and she firmly believes that “there is no substitute to hard work.” According to her, when every student’s past and future are different, there is no logic in comparing their present.

Students frequently approach her for preparation planning, academic doubts, and exam anxiety. Known for her patience and empathy, she helps students navigate pressure with clarity and confidence, ensuring that fear never overshadows understanding.

Experience & Institutional Role

In 2018, CA Astha Mongia joined SD Commerce Career as a core team member. Beyond classroom teaching, she actively contributes to student counselling and academic mentoring, playing a key role in shaping outcomes and mindsets.

Vision

Her vision is to create well-rounded Chartered Accountants—professionals who are not only academically sound, but also emotionally strong, confident, and resilient. Looking ahead, she sees herself bringing more exemptions and Rank Holders to SD Commerce Career, while continuing to guide students with patience, perspective, and purpose.

Her journey—from a small-town student to a national rank-holder, Big 4 professional, and trusted mentor—stands as proof that clarity, consistency, and compassion can truly transform outcomes.
